Bible Quizzing

Our bible quizzing program is second to none! This ministry requires a lot of hard work and dedication from both the quizzers and the coaches. We can always use help in fundraising and special events for the quiz program. When our church hosts quiz tournaments, we need a lot of help setting up, serving, and cleaning up.

 

Church Care
Alice Bowen 
This ministry is all about the care and upkeep of the church. What can you do to help our church keep looking beautiful? We need a lot of help during big events and special occasions. 

Communications/Promotions 
Harry Howell and Valerie Dohrmann 
Do you have special talents in graphic arts? You can be a tremendous help by designing Power Point slides, handouts, pictorial directories and other promotional items.

Deaf Ministry 
Lisa Ayers 
This ministry targets the special needs in our congregation for those who are hearing impaired. Our Deaf Ministry Team has been a tremendous blessing. We also have amplified listening devices for those who cannot hear well. 

Fellowship Hall
Valerie Dohrmann 
Some people are naturally talented and gifted with decorating.  Others are just great helpers! We need both types of people to help with Baby Showers, Wedding Showers, Banquets ad other special events held in our Fellowship Hall.  If you have a flair for decorating and wish to be of great service to our church, this is an area of labor for you. 

 

Hospitality Room
Rita Hagen
You will be called upon to host after Sunday morning service and special functions in our Hospitality Area. Your duties will include: set-up, clean-up and hosting.

I.T. Department 
James Spears 
This department is responsible for the maintaining and upgrading of all the church computers. If you have a background in computers, then this is a great place for you to work. 

Harry Howell 
Are you a handyman? Do you like to work outdoors? In a church our size, there is always something that needs to be repaired, repainted or replaced. If you like to work in an area without a whole lot of limelight, but a lot of rewards in heaven, this department is for you. 

Membership C.A.R.E. Ministry

The acronym C.A.R.E. stands for Caring, Assisting, Reaching and Encouraging. This is an encouraging ministry to our church family. Whether it is visiting those that are in the hospital, nursing homes or confined to their homes, or “caring enough to call” someone who has been missing church, it is our goal to show the love of God to His people. 

James Ainsworth
Our private church school offers a Christian education for grades K - 12. It is the mission of PCA to provide our students with an opportunity to learn personal responsibility and self-control in an environment that promotes academic, spiritual, and social growth.  

Ushers & Hostesses
Dan Hagen and Delores Springer 
As a hostess, usher, or door greeter, you will be one of the first people our visitors and guests will meet. Your friendly and helpful attitude will make a lasting impression on them. The information gathered by our hostesses and ushers is of vital importance in following up on our visitors.
